What is Postpartum Massage?
Pregnancy is a fulfilling experience which culminates with baby’s birth. However, the baby doesn’t come by itself: new changes accompany you during the postpartum period as you feel the need to find yourself and regain ownership of your body, which is getting back to its pre-pregnancy state. During the nine months of pregnancy, your body has gone through physical, functional and physiological changes.
This massage can help you to speed up natural healing processes, reducing inflammation, drastically alleviating aches and pains and promoting the regulation of the hormonal system.
What is the massage like?
The Samsara Massage blends the best of five different techniques: Deep Tissue, Relaxing, Swedish, Acupressure and Indian Head massage.
At the beginning of the treatment, the therapist will use Deep Tissue and Acupressure techniques to restore your physical wellbeing.
Next, the other techniques will be combined in a relaxing routine that will allow your body to relax and your mind to unwind.
